Like a shoebox of memories...

It was that kind of day where you just want to sit down and press pause.. take a deep breath and forget all that was happening. You stop to remember about the way things were, how it was and how it used to be. You open that box only to end up reminiscing about the past. Going through everything one by one, touching them, remembering the memories each item holds.. and suddenly, everything just came rushing back. Every feeling, every emotion, every memory. It was bittersweet; a mixture of happiness, sadness, laughter and heartache all at the same time..

All the what ifs? starts rushing through your head and you realise, maybe I shouldn't have..

..

.

But you can't help it. It was that kind of day; where you just want to forget everything and remember that one time when it didn't felt as hard as it does now. And to say the least, that bit of memory was enough to bring you the much needed comfort and strength to put everything away all over again.. only to open it again on another day like today..
